Bic Campaign: Smooth, Even When You're Not
In class, Rick Hebert, a copywriter and fellow student, came up with a great idea: Bic could play upon the dual means of smooth (a smooth shave versus a smooth operator) and get us to connect with their campaign through the shared experiences of accidental, stupid, and entirely not smooth actions we've all done at one time or another. I loved the concept and the writing he was doing for the project, so I offered my skills as an art director to bring his concept to life. Here's what we ended up with:
