When BET became the new home for Hit The Floor, an over-the-top TV drama about the cheerleaders of an L.A. pro-basketball team, WP Narrative_ was tasked with producing pop up experiential events that brought the team to life and let fans across the country interact with their favorite cheerleading squad in real life. We worked with the show's celebrity choreographer, Michael Rooney, to create a dance that could work at each of the 3 locations (Atlanta, Chicago, and NYC). I modified and designed the client assets to work on posters, banners, and even a parade float for the Chicago Gay Pride Parade. I'm also proud to say that I casted The Vixen, the famous contestant from Ru Paul's Drag Race and native Chicagoan, to host our float in the parade. She made for a stunning captain of the Devil Girl's cheer squad and added authenticity and flare to our presence in the parade.
